Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Upon your arrival in Delhi, your driver will greet you at Delhi International Airport and transfer you to your Hotel. Check in and Rest of the day is at your leisure and rest. Stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi.
Day 2: Delhi city tour
After breakfast, proceed at 0900 hrs for a full day tour in Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid- one of the largest mosque in the world, built by Shah Jahan to dominate the city, Red Fort- the largest monument in Delhi that was the residence of Mughal emperor of India for 200 years, Raj Ghat- a memorial built to commemorate the site of Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation, QutubMinar- UNESCO World Heritage-listed tallest minaret, Humayun Tomb- another UNESCO World Heritage site, Lotus temple- Bahai house of worship, famous for it flowerlike shape, drive past Embassy, Diplomatic enclave, stop for a quick photo at India Gate and RashtrapatiBhavan, Parliament House, Connaught Place and Delhi main shopping area. Be back for overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Delhi to Bangalore (by flight)
On arrival at Bangalore, check-in at a hotel and have rest for sometime. Later proceed for half day visit at Bangalore. Visit ISKCON Temple- one of the magnificent temples across India, where one can witness spiritual harmony. Later visit Lalbagh- one of the famous gardens where various flowers and plants with different collection of tropical and sub tropical varieties are found. Then, return to the hotel for rest and overnight stay.
Day 04: Bangalore City Tour
After breakfast, visit Cubbon Park, VidhanaSoudha- houses State Legislature and The Secretariat. Later visit Bangalore Palace- famous for its beautiful gardens and wooden structure. Then, return to the hotel for rest and overnight stay.
Day 05: Bangalore to Puttaparthy (165 Kms/ 3 hrs)
After breakfast, checkout from your hotel and proceed towards Puttaparthy. On arrival at Puttaparthy, check-in at a hotel and have rest for some time. Later, proceed towards Lepakshi and visit Vijayanagar Temple and The Great Nandi. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 06: Puttaparthy Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing at Puttaparthy. Visit PuttaparthyPrasanthiNilayam- the ashram of Sri SathyaSai Baba. Attend the morning prayers in the Temple. Explore other places in the Ashram and later in the evening, you may also like to attend the evening prayers. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 07: Puttaparthy to Tirupati (240 Kms/ 5 to 6 hrs)
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed towards Tirupati. Visit the temples Tirupati is famous for- Govindaraju Temple- a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Then, visit Padmavati Temple- a Hindu Temple dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi. Later, visit Venkateswara Temple- a temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Then, check-in at a hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Tirupati to Chennai (160 Kms/ 3 to 4 hrs)
After breakfast, checkout from your hotel and proceed towards Chennai. On arrival, check-in at a hotel and then visit Kapaleeshwar Temple- dedicated to Lord Shiva. Then, visit Fort St. George (also called White Town). Later in the evening you may like to visit Marina Beach- the longest beach in India along The Bay of Bengal. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09: Chennai- Kanchipuram- Mahabalipuram (150 Kms/ 3 to 4 hrs)
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed towards Kanchipuram- a town known for the famous temples. Visit Sri KanchiKamakshi Amman Temple- dedicated to Goddess Parvati (another name for Goddess Kamakshi). Then, visit Ekmbareshwara Temple- a Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. Then, visit the very famous Jain Temple that is a famous tourist attraction because of the wall paintings. Later, proceed towards Mahabalipuram. On arrival, check-in at a hotel and if time permits, visit the local market. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10: Mahabalipuram to Thiruannamalai and RamanaMaharshi Ashram
After breakfast, proceed to visit Thiruannamalai that houses RamanaMaharshi Ashram. Spend a day to observe the spiritual activities at the Ashram. You may like to visit other local attractions like Virupaksha Cave and Arunachaleswara Temple. Return to hotel at Mahabalipuram for overnight stay.
Day 11: Mahabalipuram to Madurai (430 Kms/ 6 to 7 hrs)
After breakfast, checkout from your hotel and proceed towards Madurai. On arrival, check-in at a hotel and later proceed to visit Meenakshi Amman Temple, dedicated to Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 12: Madurai Half Day Sightseeing, Madurai to Kanyakumari (260 Kms/ 4 to 5 hrs)
After breakfast, checkout from your hotel and proceed towards sightseeing at Madurai. Visit ThirumalaiNayakkarMahal- a Palace erected in 17th century. Then, visit KoodalAzhagar Temple- a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Later, proceed towards Kanyakumari. On arrival at Kanyakumari, check-in at a hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13: Kanyakumari Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing at Kanyakumari- named after a Hindu Goddess Kanyakumari. Visit Vivekananda Memorial Rock built in the honor of Swami Vivekananda. Later, visit Padmanabhapuram Palace, Kumari Amman Temple- dedicated to virgin Hindu Goddess Kanyakumari. Later, visit Gandhi Mandapam- a memorial named after the Father of Nation- Mahatama Gandhi. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 14: Kanyakumari to Trivandrum (100 Kms/ 2 to 3 hrs)
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed towards Trivandrum. On arrival at Trivandrum, check-in at a hotel and proceed to visit Padmnabhaswamy Temple- dedicated to Hindu God Vishnu. In the evening visit Kovalam Beach to feel the cool breeze. Since Trivandrum is famous for the Ayurveda Centres, you may like to visit a centre around the city. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 15: Trivandrum to Delhi (by flight)
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and transfers to the Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station for further journey with memories.
